In October the 4th/5th/6th grade created pointillism pumpkins.  They were only allowed to use primary colors to learn when layered they can create their green and orange.  They did a great job!

2nd/3rd Grade: Starry Night Pumpkins

The 2nd/3rd graders had a brief lesson on Vincent Van Gogh and then created their own starry night except creating a pumpkin patch in place of the original town.  This project turned out great and I loved their starry night drawings.
